Brand Yourself to Stand Out and Stand Tall

In an era where there’s always almost a mad rush to every place and everything worth doing, it is prudent to note that it takes a certain level of ‘ class ‘ to sail through. It takes branding to get such a ‘ class ‘.
There’s this story I heard about a young lady who amongst her colleagues, chose not to be associated with a certain group of ‘ unemployed graduates ‘ who have a preconceived mind that there are but few jobs which doesn’t match the number of them (graduates) who come out of school every year.
Some also think that the very few ones are in overalls therefore are not accessible. There’s no denying of the fact that jobs are limited but come to think of it, we don’t need a rocket scientist to tell us that those who are getting the few to do are superhumans! Many of us have not got a vision in life, some have also lost ours so we journey through life as if there’s nothing at stake.
This young lady was different, she had a vision, and while on campus, engaged in equally important activities outside her field of study to give her an edge over her colleagues. During an interview for a job placement, she was preferred to many job seekers though she couldn’t get a higher academic class, but for branding herself well, she always stood tall.
There’s always a bitter price to pay to get a better result! To stand out and stand tall, you’ve got some serious branding to do! A tomato seller who adds some bite to her selling will always have her stuff patronized as compared to other tomato sellers.
It took some branding for Kwaku Agyei Darko of Adonai Photos to stand tallest amongst his competitors in the photography business, with DKB arguably becoming the finest comedian of our time having come from nowhere, even in the face of fierce competition, Teddy Opoku Agyemang and his Neopower have become the undisputed provider of solar power, and will anyone host a Sports Morning Show with such articulation, knowledge, and flare than Ekow Nigyys Essilfie of Medoly Fm?
You don’t have to stress yourself to reach the top in your chosen field if you really brand yourself well, and these gentlemen are no exception. Remember, it wouldn’t come on a silver platter, so a love for what you do, dedication, consistency and hard work can only get you there! Don’t settle for second best, brand ‘ YOU ‘ to reach the top. It’s not late to get there, life breeds hope! (I zip my mouth).
